This is the first known build of Windows NT 5.0 (which later became Windows 2000), which was found on a Chinese warez CD from 1997.
Before installing make sure to have a DOS boot floppy with MSCDEX drivers!!! To install burn or mount the CD and from the Winnt5 directory run "Winnt /B" and follow the instructions as they would apply to an RTM build of Windows NT4 as the install menus are almost the same. Please note that It did work on my Sager 2200c Laptop and in Qumu however Notes: 1: In Windows, an Adobe Photoshop screen may appear. To exit that window press the bottom purple button. 2:In Virtual PC 2004 SP1 NT Loader would keep running in a reboot loop between the DOS and partition phases. 3:This OS lacks the Winnt32 files needed for an upgrade install from a 32bit OS 4:It also lacks the CD tags needed for the CD boot (/OX) floppys to work. 5:Using no switch boot floppys resulted in a 0x0000007B stop error 6: If you get a BSOD after first post login restart use Last Known Good Configuration 7: Use your NT4 Drivers forcing them if you have to. 8: I included a copy of the virtual boot floppy used by windows 98, I added format.com too. 9: BTW Qemu is more of a pain than (insert painful experience) don't use it unless you must!!!
